Phase 4 ~ Validate
Complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. - Philippians 2:2
By design, Journey to Excellence focuses on long-term substantive results. The proof is in the pudding and a diligent investment in the first three phases inevitably produces a happier, more aligned culture.
That aligned culture will better reflect the ideal of its leaders, who in turn will have become more confident, more effective, and more unified. The validation of that alignment will be made clear in the results of a second deployment of the cultural survey. The results are a source of encouragement and vision for ongoing investment in excellence.
The Spitzer Center provided objective assessments and fundamental formation for curial staff that proved useful. By knowing ourselves better and having clearer standards communicated through common language, we are better able to participate in the mission of Christ and His Church. - Most Reverend George J. Lucas, Archbishop of the Diocese of Omaha

We were renewed by their fresh presentation of the splendor of truth, beauty, and goodness, and the path that God has laid out for us to find our heart’s desire. - Most Reverend James Vann Johnston, Bishop of the Diocese of Springfield, MO
The Spitzer Center’s programs are hugely beneficial. They took us to a much higher level and elevated how we treat each other in the chancery and in the diocesan pastoral center. - Donna Marino, Former President, Catholic Community Foundation of Phoenix
Fr. Spitzer’s Journey to Excellence has had a wonderful effect on our parish and school staffs. It is spiritually uplifting, humanly insightful, and eminently practical. Our own facilitators are using the materials and recommended methods to train all of our parish ministries. - Monsignor Lloyd Torgerson, Pastor – St. Monica Catholic Community, Santa Monica
The Four Levels of Happiness in the context of our spiritual lives is a perfect response to the call to the new evangelization. I am recommending it to other Catholic pastors and leaders. - Fr. Edward Estok, Pastor, St. Albert the Great
